Hi all! I was throwing a gender reveal party for a close friend and the mom-to-be had this cake in mind, so going out on the limb I sent it to Gen at Pastries by Randolph who absolutely CRUSHED IT! Of course, I wanted everything to be perfect for the gender reveal. I knew she was good, but this was above and beyond. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here for custom cakes for special events. Gen was super easy to work with, accommodated the time request, and was just a pleasure to work with. On top of that, I mean, look at what she created! It was SO soft, tasted amazing, and the design was spot on for what the mom-to-be wanted. The price was very reasonable also. I was expecting it to be significantly more, but I couldn't argue the price for what we got. 11/10, please go here for your requests. Also, GEN rocks. Thank you SO much!
Amazing patisserie with rare find quality
Great little pastry place to go and have coffee and morning buns and deliciousness all around. Very friendly servers and wonderful. We ordered cupcakes, and raspberry filled cookies and an elegantly wrapped elephant ear/palmier and also a morning bun to go! My hubby had coffee and they have a small fridge with refreshments and water. Everything is so neat and clean and definitely a wonderful bakery. Oh and on the outside they have a small patio with wrought iron tables and chairs for you to enjoy your desserts. If in Arlington, make sure you stop here. Oh and it’s Kosher certified under orthodox supervision all year.
Been to a lot of pastries in the DMV area and this place is one of the best. I tried a lot of different cakes and they were all really good. None of the cakes were too sweet but somehow just right. Looks like we found our go-to pastry shop!
We had our gender reveal cake made here and it was absolutely everything we hoped for! They did it exactly how it was requested and we couldn’t be happier with how our gender reveal went. Cake was delicious, would recommend! Thank you Pastries by Randolph for the wonderful experience <3
This place isn't open on Sundays, but I forgive them. The pastry here is lovingly made with extreme attention to detail. Cream puff swans? Macarons? Croissant? tartes? volcano cake? and on and on and on and it's soooo hard to choose just one. The staff are friendly and patient, and package up your selection as if it is a newborn baby. Really great place to treat yourself, OR to get something special for someone - including celebration cakes
My wife wanted a dessert so we tried here. It was great to have plenty of parking in back. Once we went in, we were greeted by friendly staff and they took our orders. While there’s no place to eat inside (bakery), there are three tables outside and the weather was gorgeous. I had the lemon meringue which very good and creamy. My wife enjoyed her creme brûlée. We still have to try the Oreo cheesecake and carrot cake.
This bakery is amazing! The pastries are fresh and delicious and the service is prompt and pleasant. They cater for events (my best friend hired them to cater his wedding), and there is a small area outside to eat of the weather permits. If you're looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, or just looking for something to accompany your Starbucks coffee, Pastries by Randolph will never disappoint.
My favorite pastry shop in Arlington. They have awesome cakes as well as many different pastries and yummy cookies. Definitely worth checking out.
